Rebound by Sabrina York is the first installment of her Tryst Island series. She is known as 'Her Royal Hotness' and now I can see why! I devoured this book - and not just because it was a novella. There are numerous reasons why I read/enjoy certain authors; some authors I read just for the storyline, others for the characters, others for the sex scenes. Sabrina York has it all! The premise of the story I really enjoyed - who hasn't had a crush on a friend and hoped it would lead where Kristi and Cam's friendship led? The characters came to life for me, and I loved their banter. I'm so enamored with this bunch. They are awesome together. Cept Bella...I could do without Bella.

The sex scenes were smokin' hot too! And I really liked that, even though they were explicit, it wasn't just porn - the characters' emotions were there, and it was more than just fucking.

And on top of all this, the whole book itself was very well written. Sabrina York is very intellectual, and it made this story an even better experience for me! Rebound was sweet, hot, and funny as hell. It always snuck up on me, the laughter, all the way till the end. A perfect ending, and funny to boot!
