Fangs Of Anarchy 2 - Outlaw Alpha: Fugitives (Part 3) by Dakota Cassidy

Werewolf Freya Ashe—ex-attorney, current quilter—thought things couldn’t get worse after being chosen at the latest mate call by Courtland Dodd, the greasiest, smelliest, dumbest werewolf in forty-nine states.

Until she’s drugged. And accidentally turned into a vampire. And accused of murder. Aaaand, because she’s clearly won the bad-luck lottery, targeted by a lynch mob.

With the help of her newly acquired vampire mate, the sexy and surly Liam McConnell, Freya’s on the lam, unable to trust her own foggy memories and desperate to discover who’s got it in for her. But a small-town enemy could be the least of her problems. Especially when someone truly evil comes calling…

Dum dum dum! Here we go again with the cliffhanger and the waiting.

Things are getting good and dicey in the 3rd installment of this serial. As you all know, Freya is being accused of murdering Ethan. She is now hiding away until they can figure out what exactly happened to Ethan and how Freya ended up at the scene of the crime - because she WAS there. She came back with bloody clothes and left some of her clothing at the scene of the crime. Of course, we all know she didn't actually kill him and IF she did, it would have been in self defense.

Irish is still hiding whatever it is that is going on with him and the rest of the Fangs. Obviously, him being exiled and not speaking to any of his vamp brethren is a ruse. Probably them trying to figure out how to get their hands on the synthetic blood. But I can't tell if Liam's dislike for Claire is real or make believe. I will say I like when the two of them interact with one another. To me, the way they talk to one another reminds me of siblings and I really enjoy that.

As always, because this is a serial and I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, I can't really delve into many details. I will say, the ending of this part is good. I knew it was coming, but it's still good. Probably because I knew it was going to end like that  and I'd have to wait for the next book.

Uncensored Comments Straight From Kindle:

  • Surprised Freya could even notice the beauty of her surroundings.
  • I'm telling you - it's all a ruse!
  • It has nothing to do with you - it was Claire. I'm still saying that they were trying to get Claire to kill Freya so Claire could die. Were turned Vamp...loophole in the system...Courtland probably wanted revenge for Gannon's death and the fact that Claire wasn't punished for any of it. And he didn't really care about Freya or what happened to her. He knew she would be devastated if he chose her as a mate and was counting on her hitting the bar - her BFF Claire by her side to console her - and they would drug Freya so Claire would go crazy and kill her and then she would be executed!
  • OITNB shoutout!
  • Fucking Petra's sneaky ass!
